Casual? Hardly. Yes, it appears a lot of things shock you. Here, lets pick one the things that keep you up at night. FL decides to pull one, some or all of TRU licenses because of what 3 convicted people did, first of all you need to prove that, and you better have more than some drunk in a bar throwing BS. You need more than a tape of well we don’t know much about this but would like to get into it. And you would have to prove they would not have gotten the license any other way.
Notice the court went out of their way to states TRU did nothing wrong. Kim did nothing wrong. That was smart to word it that way.
But back to the state, Pull the license then, TRU will no doubt whatsoever sue for damages done. By the time it would get to court the damages would be in the 100’s of millions. Then the state would ask the judge if their key witnesses could be let out of prison to testify, credibility issue there, and that mixed in with the immunity protection they would have to be given, which all would come out during the trial.
TRU as a company did nothing wrong as already stated, is there a prosecutor in the state willing to take that risk on?
