People were literally falling over themselves bragging about the management team for months as new directors were added, and now its somehow a disaster. People think that building an electronic payment infrastructure is easy and not have its challenges to get deployed? I would expect nothing less than challenges. Lets not forget it was achieved in Mexico under QPAGOS the companies predecessor.

Of course his shares are affected by the split, what kind of question is that. You think he gets to keep his shares at 15 cents or whatever the price was, hogwash, nobody gets a free ride, his shares would go to .15 * 200 (my theoretical 200x for arguments sake), which is $30/share. He has a long long way to go from what would be $10/share assuming a .05/share presplit starting point.
