Who do you have your shares with?
Ours are at the transfer agent, and we are trying to find someplace to put them, but keep hitting roadblocks.
E-Trade, who I already have an account with, said no, as well as Schwab and TD Ameritrade.
I had asked a contact at the transfer agent if he could suggest someone, but the place he suggested wants $2000 to open the account to "cover fees" that may happen during the transfer, if there are any.
They say it probably won't be that much, and the rest would be in my account to do as we see fit, but that's a lot just to set up an account for something we already "own".
