The public traded companies are NOT going anywhere! The Gov cannot Nationalize them, that ship sailed long ago!
I agree. TINA is a large part of my investment thesis for the juniors. They are like perpetual options, and I don't mind waiting.
They should have been placed in Chapter 11 or chapter 7 Bankruptcy
FnF are basically in Chapter 11 right now. Their exit from conservatorship will be handled like a normal bankrupt company's exit from bankruptcy.
but in conservatorship they cannot wind down and nationalize them without paying out shareholders.
True, but paying off existing shareholders wouldn't be close to the top of the government's concerns list in a true nationalization.
