I would agree that is a bit of a reach but relative to the size of Data433 it is a big purchase. I was thinking it is the same size as the DataExpress acquisition but after looking back at it it is a bit smaller but bigger than Jason's acquisitions since. The DataExpress deal was costly and clearly not worth it. It was so bad that it was the subject of a SEC inquiry if you recall.
Jason has been boasting about having Ransomware for many months so this deal was on the radar for him last year because they do not develop anything themselves. The share price at the time wouldn't have supported this purchase along with debt reduction because as soon as he would have announced it the share price would have easily approached trips. He cleared the debt and split the stock preparing for this purchase in my opinion. I believe the NASDAQ narrative serves as cover for what he did to shareholders early in the year. Promoting every single week sometimes multiple times to sell as many shares as possible and then wipe them out with the split. He may have covered himself with all the filings but this doesn't mean that it is ethical and upstanding behavior for even a OTC listed company. The NASDAQ minimum price narrative just placates shareholders who otherwise would have filed complaints. Listed companies should be serving in the interests of its shareholders and not intent on committing outright theft.
So how many times earnings will Jason pay for Centurion and how much debt do they have. If it was a good product they wouldn't be reduced to peddling it to Jason in my opinion. Data433 has acquired something like 10 or 11 products now and no one can point to a single one that is a stand out and worthy of promotion. I don't think the industry is focused on ransomeware per say rather than quality security to prevent getting it in the first place. this will be a big purchase share wise and I believe anyone buying at this level will get soaked. It is the very same game that has played out over the past two years. Another purchase for the promotion and selling of shares. Once Jason reveals the details of the deal there may be a couple swing trades within the volatility.
