Unfortunately, we all believed what a poster said about the large number of theaters showing the movie...whether 7,900 or 80,000. I don't remember seeing any PR from the company saying so though.
On a different note, I like this stocktwits post from kingjo62 about the company. It was posted earlier today.
It is in line with my belief that CEO is showing the movie in a small number of theaters to have a high Gross per Theater to stay in a competitive position on the China Box Office. It is all about recognition at this point.
$ABQQ When you think about it, not just anyone can produce a movie and get it into theaters nationwide in China. It appears $ABQQ has been accepted by those in the industry distributing and presenting these movies. The entertainment industry is enormous in China. So when a new company enters this market with movies ready to roll. Once they earn the industry expert's acceptance and confidence, they will continue to be given access. All Mr Deng has to do is get more in the pipeline and get the movies he has rolled out. Add to that the websites growing subscription services and you have a company who's stock price should climb tremendously. JMHO
