Your link didn't work, but this doesn't seem to be right either.:

The fact is that not only would CTIX have made a name for itself by following through on B-ABSSSI but the Phase 3 and NDA processes would have paid for themselves many times over if the Company had followed through and developed a decent marketing program. And here he might sit with an approved drug or at least an easier entree to an EUA....B-CV.

But Nero fiddled.....and IPIX found other ways to make a name for itself.

"Cellceutix Provides Brilacidin Update; New Class of Antibiotics to Enter Phase 3"
"Last year, the Company successfully completed a phase 2b study in patients with Acute Bacterial Skin and Skin Structure Infections (ABBBSI)."
BEVERLY, MA–(Marketwired – October 30, 2015)

"I believe that it is best for us to focus on the other more cost-effective trials at present and wait for upcoming milestones that can assist in recovery of CTIX share value so as to minimize dilution when raising capital for the ABSSSI trial. We already know that Brilacidin compares favorably to daptomycin in treating ABSSSI and have two other trials, oral mucositis and ulcerative proctitis, ongoing with the compound to further prove its merit in treating other indications. In my view, it is most prudent to circle back around to ABSSSI when we can draw upon available capital at a more shareholder-friendly valuation. Because of all the prep work, we can then squeeze that trigger and move forward expeditiously."

"I can see why Leo is hesitant at this stage of IPIX finances."
That's the explanation for B-OM and B-UC too, right? Fair enough. He can always circle back around to those.

I'm tryin ta think but nuttin happens......Curly
