Climate change may or may not directly effect us for 20 or thirty years out, the covid-19 pandemic is killing us NOW, so can all the screaming about climate changes at least take a break for a few months so this country can focus on what's killing people right now and get it under control once and for all, then in a few months the climate action can be focused on.
Too many things that aren't immediately viable are competing for peoples attention. Covid and voting are now things. Climate is an ongoing thing that's going to take a lot of working together and corporate accounting and predicting outcomes years down the line can wait a couple of months.

We truthfully have time to work on climate change, we don't have time working on a pandemic virus with 40% ignorant maga's fighting science.
