Here is some data for you about neutralizing antibodies in the blood of people previously infected with Covid, or after they had a single vaccine dose as well as uninfected people who have received one or two vaccine doses. Hope this provides good evidence for you as to why even people who were previously infected need vaccination to ward off the delta variant.

Here is a link to the manuscript which has been accepted for publication in the Journal Nature. I have access to the pdf but I am not sure I am supposed to put it on a public forum as it is behind a paywall. Antibodies from people who have been infected with Covid don't neutralize the delta variant very well, but their ability to neutralize delta is greatly enhanced after a dose of Covid vaccine does. Uninfected people need two vaccines doses to reach a good level of neutralizing antibodies.
