Every year in America, on average about 35,000 people died from Influenza. Did anybody ever suggest shutting down the country because of this? Did anybody ever suggest mandating vaccination? Did anybody ever even consider a mask mandate during Flu season? What is so different now? Do you place any value whatsoever on individual liberty? I do.

FYI, approximately 600,000 Americans died last year because of COVID-19 (vs. your average 35,000 for influenza). We're talking about two very different sized animals.
