“Basic” means the amount of common shares currently issued…. 590,989,409.

“Diluted” means, the number of common shares that would be in issue if all debt and all preferred shares were to be converted into Common shares. This number fluctuates from quarter to quarter depending on the closing bid price on the last day of each quarter. The higher the closing bid price is, the lower the total diluted number will be.
