had seen this opinion piece last week...and thanks for posting. the writer makes some good points about the "bigger problems" facing the planet. the required changes in human civilization to make the planet healthy/safe/thriving are larger than most of us have even begun to talk about...but... ultimately, some form of non-fossil based electricity will/must win the day vs. fossil-based, even if ALL of human civilization must drastically reduce its footprint. At the very least, Li will be a transition resource to the "next thing" -- commercial fusion? more efficient storage methods? -- that will move human activity in that direction. development of Thacker is a step in the right direction vs continued large-scale fracking and other fossil development. all imho of course....and of course, as a shareholder of LAC, i am biased...
