Wow this is a disturbing thread. I wish all of you folks a speedy recovery through the issues. I've been hooked up to a couple of Johnston Island boards on Facebook. I spent a year there back in the 73-74 time frame. The ground was polluted with Plutonium from a rocket explosion a few years before I got there. The water and ground were polluted with agent orange about 2 years before I got there. Somehow, I am not suffering from the unbelievable crap the folks who were there before and after me. Cancers and tumors of all sorts. My maladies come from stressful work environments from when I worked on the B2 project, and when I was working for them again after they bought TRW. High stress environments. I had a stroke at work, maybe 12 years back. People treating you like all of your electronic skills and your clearances didn't mean shit. yada yada yada. I've been retired in Northern California (the famous Humboldt County) on the coast overlooking Humboldt Bay. Trying to grow a meadow in our yard for the pollinators and the beauty of it. Had a few health issues here, but all in all, life is pretty good. Too many trump banners for my tastes, and many anti maskers/vaxxers, but it is like that everywhere. I wear a mask everywhere. No point in collecting a D variant at this time.
