USAK/ULH

-Are you concerned about labor issues and driver shortages in the sector? For years, these guys have been getting killed by this.

This is always a concern for the sector, but they seemed very positive about the overall outlook of the companies. Undoubtely wages will have to go up. But that I believe will be easily passed to there customers and more.

-Similarly, are their drivers contractors? If so, it's getting tougher for contractors b/c of their costs (oil up, maintenance presumably up, etc.)

My understanding is there is a mix. I'm not particularly concerned about this. But they need all hands on deck to meet strong demand.

-Do they own their own trucks? It's not clear to me whether it's better or worse (i.e. maintenance costs vs. having contractors bring their own truck)

They own a decent amount of there fleet. but they seem to rent some to. In ULH case some of it is owner operated as well.

I'm pretty bullish on the sector in the short to intermediate term, but time will tell if I'm right. I think these stock will make great trades over the next 3-6 months from current prices, than again I could be completely wrong. Time will tell. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
