I really don't see where it's going to be beneficial, it's going to limit the ways to make money trading OTC, and that's not a good thing at all IMO. Hell, it's has not even gone into effect and already killing OTC trading, as volume across the board has been way down from last year, or even earlier this year, before people got spooked.
No, I dont like it at all, originally I thought it might improve liquidity, as more money might have gone into reporting tickers, rather than so much going into 'No Infos'....but now I don't see it.
No one wants to buy anything that does not have a catalyst. Thats why the 'No infos' were good for those that traded them, because old, delinquent tickers showing some sort of sign of coming back to life, was a great catalyst.
Now people in private Twitter chatrooms just wait for an 8K alert of some material event, and try and buy as fast as possible....pump em....and then when the volume is gone...dump em.....and wait for the next 8K......wash rinse and repeat...BORING....lol.
