Maybe so, IX. It's that eternal torment! Now I don't have much upside with only $1,800 shares. I hope it pays off well for you. I don't know if it was a mistake to sell or not. I just don't know.
I just wish I had a crystal ball! It's never enough! I'm now down to $1,800 in cash left. I spent all my money!
1. I transferred $51,000 for taxes to my escrow. Taking 35% adn a little more, even though I'm actually in a lower tax bracket since I held for soooo long. I like a cash cushion over there
2. Then I bought 1,000 shares of Vistra Energy (VST). Analyst upgrade came out the next day. Pure luck on that timing.
3. Then I bought 1,000 shares of Cinemark today. Much, much better than AMC on all fronts. But I still kick myself every day for not buying AMC. Yet, I did sell someone the right to make me buy AMC from them for $5 per share. About 30,000 shares worth over the next few years. I'm be glad to take it for $5 with their recent cash infusion.
3A. I also sold a covered call on Cinemark at the $25 strike that expires in January of $23 to get that price down to $14.00 share. I hope I don't get called out.
4. I also bought 2,000 more shares of CIDM today with the help of the covered call proceeds. Streaming video.
5. And I bought back a $17.00 call (price ceiling) I had on my 1,000 shares of Macy's. That was a net loss of $600 or so I think. That's good property they own. I didn't like that gamble that expired in September. Things got much better, much faster than anticipated.
6. I also had about $42,000 in margin debt last week that got paid off in full.
7. And then I bought another 10,000 of KHRNF today (27 cent stock now).
8. Another 200,000 shares of FNQQF at .0082 (also on my profile here)
So I'm left with only about $1,400 in NET CASH when it's all said and done. Lots of fire power, but not much cash. At least I have a TOT dividend coming in a few days, which should amount to about $700ish.
Gone! All that cash up in smoke in one week. Like a woman in Macy's! That being said, I buy my clothes at Wal Mart!
