Dew,..>The Lucentis DNA/Xoma connection on revenues/royalties…<...actually, to have gotten that much info out of CEO Blackjack Castello is a minor miracle imo. He has entrenched himself ala Fidel Castro in Xoma with his annual $500,000 salary, options etc since Fred Flinstone was a glimmer in his mothers eye. I feel like 1/2 of my adult life has been spent listening to his droning CC's and the botched trials for outstanding drug platforms and even better intellectual properties and their phage display is second to none.
However, as of late, they seem more open communication wise, and their dealmaking is getting so much better....to wit, the Rituxan absolute giveaway, the deals with Baxter, ONXX, Allergan etc, etc.....

They may "never" disclose the full or actual amount of the royalties, agreements, payments that will show up in the top and bottom line, but after 17 years of ownership in Xoma, I expect the unexpected and with all the wonderful intellectual properties, the Genentech ties, the other licensing deals, I still keep a Sentinal's watch on mgt. for all their past transgressions that imho has kept several great drug platforms OFF the market with poorly set up and implemented clinical trials...IN THE PAST that was, but the taste of the
sepsis and meningicoccal trial botchings is still there....

All that being said, and with several retirements of some of the old guard good 'ol boys who took their pay and bonuses as the share price descended from the $20's to sub $1 without flinching nor remorse, it appears that XOMA may actually live up to some of their potential and even some of their capabilities........

Peace,
