Had to message the head of IR on LinkedIN to get info on the merger. They did respond, and here is what they said: "I-ON communications will be as a private company after spinoff and plans to go public again after pandemic, hopefully 2022 or 2023."

So, I-ON Communications Ltd. will be spun-off to shareholders as a private company in exchange for publicly traded IONI shares, which will be used to acquire CDI.
