The reason I mentioned it is because Jay Luly mentioned it. I can guess at reasons, but for me it seems noteworthy that he didn't mention all the options; just the soon to be generic.
I'd venture that one nuke might play better with the combo. Also to your point yes, that makes sense.....and that even an older nuke that may even effect longer term damage *could* end up being a superior compound to be used in a relative short term dosing. And conversely...
The newer nuke Vemlidy (a/k/a TAF) may be a superior agent to the new for a variety of reasons that (it almost appears- but I've no idea) gave reason for Luly to reference it.
