Even if you are right (I don't think so since he clearly was talking about identifying the songs), it doesn't address the issue I was posting about.

Many radio stations aren't even reporting anything which means they won't have an incentive to use Soundstr unless laws are passed and enforced.

Will enough of the existing reporting stations want Soundstr? We have been told 'yes' but it all is about as clear as mud.

If the demand really is there for what Soundstr offers RIGHT NOW, then the lack of units placement is simply inexplicable. It makes no sense.

Wouldn't you agree that they could have come up with enough money to place 450 units (ie less than $500k) if all was ready to go in Q4?

He may well have also been saying they can identify all kinds of other information (ie they have the libraries to match the song with), but that doesn't mean they have in place the ability to provide ALL of the information necessary - and in usable formats - for proper licensing data capture.






My philosophy is to just be honest and balanced, and let the market decide if it agrees or not.
