No, I am not concerned if COOP really starts buying back their own shares in August in a more aggressive way (as they said). This will be positive for the share price. In theory, if they really buy up to 50% (which is possible starting with Aug. 1st) of the 86 million outstanding shares, the PPS should increase massively and could almost double.
This IMO does not indicate that they want to go private. When there was the R/S split they said there are no plans to take the company private. This could have changed of course, but I am not sure what this means for the NOLs...
JWW...in your expierence does the 50% buyback concern you? one of the ways to buyback is thru tender offers. also wouldn't this indicate a possible intention to go private. thoughts
