so far, all the stocks I've watched where people were claiming it was being shorted, ended up being restricted shares coming on the market. They pump the stock to get it a little higher, then sell their newly unrestricted shares and bring it back down to calls of short-selling. Then, of course, the boards talk about the coming short squeeze, to keep suckers buying.

So sad.
