Everyday can't be a homerun 25%+ day when you're dealing with the market. I'm surprised we've seen so many identified stocks in this forum run as quick and high as they have been. Kudos to the folks who've identified these quick runners. For all of you newer folks that have been in the market less than 5 years, my advice is to just hit your 25%-50% mark (with a stop-loss of ~15% just in case you got in a bad time) and move on to another one. If you're swing trading, it helps to use charts with something as simple as RSI, MACD, and ACCUM/DIST (I use this one sparingly). It aides me in seeing when something is just way overbought in the swing trading world and helps me see when other swing traders are about to get nervous and bail with profit.

Anything I share is an opinion based on my observations from over a decade of dabbling in the stock market. It's great to share ideas and observations with everyone, but at the end of the day it's your call on whether to buy, hold, or sell.
