Assuming the couples' children, I can relate to their disbelief and every year's first snow ;)
This year the snow left incredibly early which is usually welcome but
Really f'd me up with so much brush still to burn this spring.
(My small contribution to global warming)
No virtue signals here
Just the question 'where does it end?'.
In this case I hope science is way wrong.

When I was reading the Deep Ecologists decades ago
They seemed to be quite critical that we could just
Keep going with our industrious natures cuz
Technologies chew up the planet too fast.
Now, I think a "Technological Fix"
Is all that remains
