Looks like we will need to train more helicopter pilots and build more heavy lift CH47s in order to get the sand to the target area of the fires once these start crashing. But a Chinook burns about 6500 pounds of JP8 per hour, so wouldn’t we have to add all of this consumption of water, fossil fuels and earth minerals into the overall cost benefit analysis of being green?
