Yes this is correct. Shares from the float can also be retired, BUT they have to be purchased. Restricted shares can be retired at no cost. AABB said they will be retiring shares and never mentioned anything about a buyback. I thought the audience reading these posts already knew this so my apologies for not being more specific

I'll rephrase...

-Restricted shares can be retired at no cost
-Outstanding shares can be repurchased and retired at market share value
-aabb has only mentioned retiring restricted shares and has not mentioned anything about a share buyback

So one of my core questions, how will aabb retire more then the 417 million restricted shares without a share buyback program. Benny is implying the OS will be below 1 billion soon.....i want to know how
