You know, I hadn't considered this at all until you brought it up.
When you think about it, there is really nothing to stop the plaintiffs, U.S Treasury, and FHFA from meeting on a settlement prior to SCOTUS.
Unusual, but then this is the most unusual of all cases.....and the government potentially has a lot to lose.
