I guess it is a possibility that the sites are open days before the are listed to the public so who knows when the clock for each patient really starts at a new site. It could have been yesterday in Puerto Rico or earlier this week.
I like to think that more sites means we will see very positive results eventually and that the 400 will be good news as we will get to continue the trial.
I also think the more sites means 2 things they are trying to get this trial done ASAP as competition to be the 1st oral pill for covid is getting to the final couple months of someone coming out and selling something to the masses. I also think enrolment may be more challenging since cases are down compared to when this trial started back in late November 2020
