Timmy, having lived through a few of these situations, my strong view is that any CFO worth his/her salt would be primarily attracted to SIRC for the equity upside and would be less focused on the cash component to their compensation - though that piece is never irrelevant. The search firm often times will take equity as a significant piece of their compensation for their services, and as recent history has shown, Massey will dish out plenty of equity to get what he wants.

I really don't think cash will be the issue here, and given the **critical** nature of this resource for SIRC given their situation and circumstances, they should aim high and pay what it takes (equity or otherwise) within reason to get the appropriate resource on the team asap.

Without the right CFO, the SIRC investment thesis doesn't hold water for me, though I'm sure it will for many others. In my view there's way too many variables which need to be addressed to right the SIRC ship and its profitability that require the skills and expertise a NASDAQ level CFO would bring. In addition, this CFO should move ahead with an overhaul and significant upgrade of SIRC's Finance org/processes/vendors and other operating functions (in collaboration with Troy) to set the table and support continued future growth - both inorganic and organic. The SIRC story has many of the ingredients to be incredible from here forward, but it also has many different ways where it can go sideways and stall or falter. This is why the stock is where it is today. So far I like what I see the team doing, but this CFO issue - in my opinion - is the fulcrum issue for me longer term. I hope Massey/SIRC gets this right, though the risks are very high they won't and that's part of the deal with investing in penny stock land.
