In firefox it has a proxy setting that may work. But not sure if you have to find a separate proxy URL. I don't know about that kproxy site. But I do know that the opera browser has a VPN that you can enable or disable any time you want and you don't have to go into settings.

I have not investigated how opera pulls off this VPN.
One thing about online VPN's like kproxy is you're passing your data through their server there's truly no way to verify they are not viewing your data or they aren't some honey pot thing. Depending on who's encrypting your traffic.
