Ask 100 people on the street and see if they can answer anything about the economy and data. Ask them what is the current unemployment rate, gdp, inflation rate, etc - they would be clueless. Many people don’t even know who their senator is or mayor or city council. The only people who know or care are the ones who are interested because of their job, business, stock market gurus etc etc. No way in hell the average person knows a damn thing about the data.

I’m talking about economy shutdown and even said regardless of why it was shutdown.
