Meet Trent & Allie, a married couple who are building their new home themselves in the mountains of Utah while living in an old trailer they remodeled. Trent was born in Utah and Allie's parents live in Washington D.C.
Allie is pregnant so they have a target date to get their house done.
They have two dogs.
The FBI got a tips that Allie and Trent were at the Jan. 6th Capitol riots and the FBI wants to question them! "Have you done anything in the past year to overthrow the government" the agent asked! After laughing at the question, Allie told them NO.
Another call from the FBI agent told them they were being investigated and they would like to talk to them the next day.
They are waiting for the agent and two of them arrive.
They asked not to be filmed.
Trent put together his phone records, receipts he signed for deliveries and his credit card statements showing he was in Utah on Jan. 6th. BUT, they had flown to D.C. to spend the holidays with her parents. Apparently the FBI flunked at finding their return trip on Jan. 3rd.
They started out by telling Trent & Allie "you knows it's a federal crime to lie to a federal officer".
The agent tries to intimidate Trent!
Trent & Allie have a YOUTUBE channel and apparently two of their viewers thought they saw them at the demonstration and turned them in. Their facial recognition program found a guy with a red beard wearing a beanie and they thought they had Trent. They used their driver's license photos for the search and were sure they also found Allie.
Finding out they flew to D.C. in Dec. was all it took for the FBI to send two agents to Utah to investigate them. Waste of time & money.
