Nevermind the email I just sent asking if I could post that.

I practically needed a snowmobile suit this weekend for an Audi Quattro club event at HPT.

Here are some pics:


As a die-hard Ford man, this was definitely a "Kodak Moment".


A picture of my ride, affectionately called the "Track Ho'" by my friends up there. Ready to go do its own variety of "lap dancing". The black 88 'vette in the background belongs to one of my students. 144 mph on the front straight. That was a lot of fun!


The Track Ho', its ride, and its ride's ride. I think the white M3 in the background belongs to the guy who first mentioned the car being a "lap dancing" specialist.


Edit: I should mention that the guy (Tony) in the first picture, standing behind his Chevy truck, was driving a 4-door M with an automatic. He was at the first school I attended in 96 and I thought he'd dropped out after 2 or 3 events. I was surprised to find he was still into this stuff and had done about 20 events.

I was even more surprised to find that though my Corvette student (Berry) was a very competent driver in an awesome car set up for road-course use and making 400 horses at the wheels (I believe it!!!) who just needs a bit of polish was getting trounced by Tony on the track.
