This is usually not needed.

What we need is fair distribution of patients by age .
In CD12 everything was not proper , somehow..

Study was....... 2:1 , drug : placebo
age over 65 ....3:1 , drug : placebo.

This what was a big problem..
And I cant even explain how this could happen..
