I"ll just say it. I don't believe the stated conversion rates of 600% or 1200%, as is now being stated. Never have. And it isn't because I'm against the company. I always liked Rory and was hoping those claims were true.

It's for these reasons:

1. They never have shown good data to support the rates. The studies have had major flaws in design

2. The 'conversion' has not been for final sales. Clicks or reduced attrition rates aren't sales.

3. This is the biggest -- the ability to convert using their interactive buttons along with the claims of massive increases in conversions rates have been around for 4 years now - available to the Verb clients to use, and yet we never hear about their clients thriving. Better yet, we never see the Verb share in commission/royalties on the sales that were written into some of the contracts.

The biggest clue was when V2 (the version built from scratch) failed to catch on with the thousands of Netsuite users, and Verb - despite saying they could build V3 in about 6 weeks - took their own sweet time, and a year later it still hadn't happened. Verb KNEW that the conversion rates were nothing like they had been reporting IMO.

The conclusion must be that the claims simply are not accurate. They are pure hype.



My philosophy is to just be honest and balanced, and let the market decide if it agrees or not.
