Then I found the possibility to create a whole spreadsheet for all the stocks I owned and see quotes in realtime. I hijacked their beta test pages, they must have been scratching their heads wondering how all the penny stocks showed up....

Doesn't sound like much today, but remember, this was 1998 when people spent their time on freerealtime.com hitting refresh every 2 seconds for 1 stock at a time....
