SI played a game, there was a link to free SI tee-shirts, if you found the link, you click on it and order 2 free tee-shirts. The link comes up with your full name, home address (that you entered when you signed up) and a question about what size you want, S M L XL XXL.
So anyway, I found it, bookmarked it and got my 2 free tees.
Months later, some guy is pissing me off on my thread, so I send a message to SI asking if they can calm him down. No response. A few days later on a Sunday, I'm talking with Vendit on some nonsensical thread about nothing important and say something stupid like "hey dude, I know where you live", and post the link.
Total chaos resulted, lurkers saw that I posted THEIR address, SI was overwhelmed with complaints about me posting people's personal information.
SI Jill was pissed at me, sent me a message saying to never do that again.
All people can see is their own info and no one else can see it.
SO I got upset because of the problem I complained about, getting no reply, yet within an hour, Jill is harassing me about a tee-shirt link that belongs to SI!
SO I proceeded to go to the most popular threads and post;
"This looks like a nice place to live" followed by the link.
I got deaths threats from the EBAY guys before Jill finally put an end to my rampage and killed my account.
SI bob actually saw the humor in it and sneaked me back in a month or so later.
OH, and I killed the free tee-shirt link. During my banishment I gave the link out to others who simply wanted free tee-shirts. SI Jill responded to those requests "where the hell did you get this link?"
