The reverse split would not do anything to the debt in default- if they have a Enough shares to cover all conversions now they will have enough after the RS. Nothing changes - I doubt Finra is held up trying to protect the debt holders.
Take a look at mtech acquisition and MJ freeway which merged into Akerna. This was done by hyper ventures in a similar fashion to BLPG ;/)
