With paint there are shades. Same for corruption in politics. You can slop paint on heavily or gently put on a much thinner coat. There are also shades. There is no contradiction in any of that.

So much for your

"For me, there can be no contradictions. Regardless
of the width of the brush, the paint is the same color.
"

I'd guess blackhawks did not take you to be a Republican. Actually it's interesting you would suggest he he has while talking about corruption. He would have taken you as, something other than liberal.

That aside, i personally have come to understand the majority who come to be contrary here see themselves as independent. As you do. You would know though that few independents are truly independent, and no doubt by far most we get visiting here are more conservative than liberal. I'd say most all. Conservative libertarians i'd guess many, or most, are.

The thing we find most irritating is the false equivalency put up by virtually all conservatives who visit. We all know there is corruption on both sides, but there also is no doubt that, over decades, more corruption has come from the conservative side than from the Democrats.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
