Absolutely. In case you haven't noticed, which you haven't, that is precisely how it always works. It's not like they can hide not updating the data. Everything must be justified.

Whether it's regular "covid" cases, "breakthrough covid cases", "covid" deaths, or "breakthrough deaths", the reporting standard always gets changed, and is always justified.
