The physical Universe as WE know it, is this poverty. Because it's apparent impermanence. Things within it, arise, exist and dissolve. That is the concept of death. Few here have come to integrate the true nature of being into the equation of existence. Therefore, self-identification with a bodily form composed of the stuff OF this three dimensional Universe, all of which will coalesce, bind and then dissipate, as the "consciousness principle" withdraws from the form.

This is our hope for a future. Religion betrays humanity every time. Religion seeks to emprison humanity, lock them in the place where they are, limit their chances of discovering the truth. That way, others may lord over them in this limited realm. But for some, they are not bedazzled by the shiny baubles offered by those wishing to control them. They shine with their own light. The primative social structures and superstitious nature of the "herd mentality" do not possess them.
24 His disciples said, "Show us the place where you are, for we must seek it."
He said to them, "Anyone here with two ears had better listen! There is light within a person of light, and it shines on the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark."
But that is not an easy task to discover that fact and escape the bondage imposed upon them. It requires sacrifice, difficulty, and many, many tormented moments. Most of all, it takes surrender. One can not "go it" alone.

But in the finally analysis, they can not, will not stand up to the forces that control all and everything.
Religion seeks to bind one in a homogeneous, singular dimensional reality that controls the social impulse and makes one compliant.
