We can assume that the Q+A discussion (which we are not privy to) went beyond the introductory facts of the presentation.

For the record, I've spoken with my doctors, a heart surgeon, and a researcher/scientist at Mt. Sinai NYC about LL (and subsequently CCR5 as a pathway). NOT ONE OF THEM had previously heard of LL and seemed genuinely intrigued by what I was saying.

So I have no problem with SK starting this presentation with very basic things. Let's assume the ideas and answers were progressive during the Q+A.

The presentation wasn't for "us", but those in attendance to do "know" what we knew, IMO.

I can agree with much of the rest of your post. There are good questions raised. And there are still things behind the scenes at this time we need know to judge fairly.
