I have to disagree with you

All these important decisions a Regulator or CEO would make have
to be done in a timely manner.

You cant just say well I will just wing it for over a year and see what happens.

Its not gonna play out that way in the Private Sector. You will get the
boot out the front door immediately.

For him he is fortunate that he is employed by the GOVT. Almost impossible
to get Fired if your in a GOVT job.
