"Funded by U.S. tax dollars, the NIH supports researchers throughout the country and around the world as they work to improve people's health. The NIH recognizes the importance of keeping the American people informed about how their tax dollars are spent to support medical research.”

Terrible isn't it... the NIH supporting medical research since the 1950s.

Political pressure almost certainly played a part in the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) sudden termination of a grant it had awarded to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China for joint research on coronaviruses in bats and their potential to jump into humans.

And surprise, years later Covid made the jump from bats to humans. Again how terrible one would want to form joint collaborations with other countries on zoonotic disease spread. Especially when the bats of interest are located outside the US.

“The EcoHealth Alliance has received more than $3.7 million since 2015 for its research on the risks of coronavirus spread through bats and the potential for spillover into humans.

Oh nooo... another how terrible. Especially since there had been 2 prior distinct SARs infections in humans.

And abortion too:

And presto, we divert from Covid to abortions. Here's a scenario for ya:

A woman has a spontaneous abortion, after recovering from Covid. The fetus is dead upon being aborted. Some Mad scientist wants the dead fetus tissue. The alternative is to take it along with the placenta, and stick it into an incinerator.

A bill in Virginia, supported by Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam, would have apparently legalized the killing of just-born infants.

And such a claim is apparently pure bullshit.
