I agree. Two links to the same content would be redundant. Using the link to the article, as you did, leaves the scion part of the context out. As stated earlier posting the link to scion's automatically also includes the original article link. So no context at all is omitted. and only one link is posted.

That aside, maybe it's just me but, i think i've said before it seems more decent,
more personal, more fair, whatever, to, if using another's post to link directly to it.

Fair enough, you gave the acknowledgement but didn't link to his post.

Think of articles on the net where they reference another poster they usually link to the other's post.

Just feels a better way to do it is all.
