Kinda like Pluto and the Planet thing...Its only 38 sq mi....

Then there are the founders wishes that it stay independent..

Can at least the capital of the US stay non partisan? Not red, not blue?

If we want another state Puerto Rico might be a better choice but they aren't sure they want to...
