BAZELET INDUSTRIAL
REVITALIZING THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE, GEORGIA & ALABAMA WIREGRASS REGIONS

ECONOMIC INITIATIVE
We are developers, members, leaders, advocates, professionals and students who economically sustain growth for local and state communities.

Bazelet is initiating economic modeling protocol with IMPLAN, the most trusted name in economic impact modeling software. This will provide all stakeholders the most credible and accurate values the hemp industry can have in any county in the United States.

Our primary outcomes are building out a hemp commodity sector that we will see shortly in multiple fibrous commodity industries, such as paper, lumber, textiles and clothing—with a second report assessing the Medical and/or Recreational Cannabis Industry framework for legalized, or soon to be legalized states.

PILOT IMPLEMENTATION
In the Southeast region of the US, producers have experienced persistent economic decline and quality of life as a result of overseas manufacturing, high costs of operation, diminished demand and low prices for their products.

Hurricane Michael last fall wiped out homes, businesses, and entire communities in three states covering over 4,150 square miles; farms that have sustained American families for generations have been wiped out.

Our help will not only revitalize the disparaged regions from hurricane Michael but will repurpose thousands of acres of land to Bazelet Hemp, restoring farm soil vitality and producing the raw material we will process into fiber, pulp, and oil.

REPURPOSING OF THE COTTON & TIMBER INDUSTRIES
HEMP IS THE TOOL THAT EMPOWERS THE PRODUCER AND DELIVERS A NEW TEXTILE.
Through repurposed cotton fields, gins and old factories, we can empower future generations, by utilizing existing, outdated processing centers and bringing textile manufacturing back to the panhandle and surrounding regions.

Communities and industries will flourish.

WE ARE READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP AND LOOK FORWARD TO PROCEEDING WITH DEVELOPMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

THE NEW HEMP ECONOMY WILL FUEL JOB GROWTH BY THE HUNDREDS IMMEDIATELY, AND BY THE THOUSANDS FOR GENERATIONS FOLLOWING OUR FIRST STEPS IN 2019.
AMERICA’S NEWEST CROP: MAKING AGRICULTURE GREAT AGAIN

FROM CROPS TO END USERS
Bazelet has begun collaboration with the USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) in regard to the newly created US hemp industry. The Farm Service Agency implements agricultural policy, administers credit and loan programs, and manages conservation, commodity, disaster and farm marketing programs through a national network of offices.

Bazelet is driving to complete its first set of hemp programs and services that align with federal law and support the goals set forth by the USDA. Bazelet will initially co-develop two programs: the first program curriculum is geared for the private sector, and the second for the public sector including state, regional and local government and NGO’s.

Along with the FSA in the delivery of our programs, we are working with the Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA), and the Economic Development Institute (EDI) at University of Oklahoma. We intend to offer standardized coursework, classroom and online training along with Bazelet’s merit based certification programs which promote professionalism in the emerging hemp industry.
