I have no doubt it will take some time, but it will happen. I only have about 3 more moths till I hit 1 year on a good chuck of shares which will help with that fed tax bill but not the state. CA does not give any breaks for long term gains but saving 17% and going from 37 to 20 is quite nice!! This will be over .10 buy the time I hit my 1 year mark. I’m looking for at least .25
