I can tell you with 100% certainty that what we're currently seeing has nothing to do with a flipper. First off, someone flipping wouldn't be filled with ongoing 1 share fills - this wouldn't make any sense. Those who momentum trade typically move in and out of larger orders, especially on the OTC - this is really the only way to make a quick return.
What we're seeing isn't normal, and could potentially be associated with a large buy order - what's confusing right now is the continuation of the 1 share fills. Typically, dark pool orders are slowly and methodically filled, as the objective is to fill at a predetermined amount without pressuring the PPS to the upside - what's out of the norm here is the continuation of these 1 share fills, with sporadic larger fills interspersed.
Overall, I do believe this is indicative of controlled trading, and as we see CDEL continues to sit atop the bid & ask - they're clearly slow walking the fills here for some reason.
