with some of his shares. He apparently has created a new family trust and was shifting shares from old trust to new, plus additionally he owned shares that were not part of the trust. (see form 4 previously linked).

So my point was, he owned 126,000 shares before 3/17/2021
The SEC Form 4 then shows he sold all 126,000 and rebought 126,000 placing all shares in the new family trust. So it was a net zero transaction.

Yes, placing in new family trust does imply he thinks the family will benefit from owning Avid (CDMO) shares!!!
